Portraits of Power
This past September, New Yorker photog Platon Antoniou (who goes by his first name professionally) set up a tiny studio just off the floor of the U.N’s general assembly and over five days hustled to lure as many world leaders in front of his camera as he could.

What with news that the polar bear may not be around for our great grandchildren to see, empirical proof of global warming and the recent two-week UN climate change conference in Copenhagen ending without achieving a legally binding treaty, the health of our planet can’t fail but to be top of mind these days.
