An officer and a husband

One of the screens in my office has been tuned to the conventions over the past couple weeks, and after the boys were in bed I caught the intro to Senator McCain’s address this evening. There he was… BRAD!

In 1993, Senator McCain handed out diplomas to the graduating class at the US Naval Academy, and a photograph of Brad Donnelly receiving his has been incorporated into the campaign. The photograph with the Senator hangs on a wall in the Donnelly home, as does this image of Brad and Eileen as they were pronounced man and wife in New York Harbor in 2004.
