Genesis
Who am I, why are you here?
I am Josh’s dad and Alison’s husband. We have lived in Savannah for nearly three years. Prior to that, Alison and I lived in Texas and South Africa, and I have also lived in the American Midwest and Northeast.
I have been a photojournalist for half of my life, working on assignment in nearly 50 countries for publications, corporations and couples. I changed my focus when I moved to Savannah, and am now using my storytelling abilities to photograph wedding celebrations. I also work with a few families each year to create a book about who they are, at this time.
My life is visual, but there is a tremendous thought process that goes into creating images. I’m going to speak a little bit about the thinking, or lack of thinking for certain images, and whatever else comes to mind.
